About Ad Energy

We believe solar power should be mainstream. For solar power to make that transition, it needs to be simple and affordable. The technology itself is safe and extremely reliable. So we made it our mission to make solar simple for homeowners. Our team is made up of passionate people who all share the same core belief of making solar simple.

Management Team

Andy Wall- CEO
Andy is the CEO and founder of Ad Energy. He started Ad Energy with a vision of building a company that would make an important contribution to solving our society’s energy challenges. He decided to bring his deep experience and skills in consumer finance to the solar industry. Prior to Ad Energy, Andy worked for Capital One, a leading consumer finance company. He led several consumer finance businesses for Capital One in the US, the UK, and South Africa.

In his spare time Andy plays several stringed instruments, and occasionally performs the classical guitar. He also enjoys soccer, reading, and travel, and is about halfway through his lifetime travel goal of visiting 90% of the countries of the world. He has a BS in Physics from the University of Virginia.

T.R. Ludwig- VP Business Development
T.R. is the VP of Business Development for Ad Energy. He leads our marketing and sales team as well as installer and supplier relationships. T.R. is one of the first in the US to become certified NABCEP PV Technical Sales. Prior to Ad Energy, T.R. was a Client Director at Gartner Inc. where he worked with Fortune 500 clients to develop marketing and IT strategies. T.R. won multiple awards for his sales leadership while at Gartner. T.R. also founded an IT outsourcing company in The Netherlands.

During his time off, T.R. likes to DJ, play lacrosse, and fundraise for the charity he helped co-found: The YG Foundation, as well as promote renewable energy policy changes at the state and federal level. T.R. has a professional certificate from M.I.T, and MBA from Maastricht School of Management with e-Business, and BS double major Environmental Studies and Geology from Ohio Wesleyan University.

Our Solar Squad

Here is a little bit about some of our key team members:

Danny Jeong – Danny runs our marketing operations, and is our resident magician. If you meet him in person, do not let him get away without performing at least a card trick or two (he travels with magic paper).

Nick Bahrenburg -Nick is our customer operations manager, he keeps our office engine running and when we isn’t working with us he is out on the softball field running the bases.
